Dear Friends,
As one door closes …
We met you when we were 12, 12, 10 and 7 – and now we are 20, 20, 17 and 14…as the saying goes - time sure flies when you’re having fun. Those of you who know us well will understand that it was never our intention to solely sell beads. Instead - we have been guided by our greater purpose - sharing our gifts and talents with others and encouraging them to do the same.
Over the years, The Bead Shack has allowed us the opportunity to meet many, many wonderful people – who are now our friends and mentors. We also have been provided a forum to advance our education and hopefully make a difference to the Crofton community we have been fortunate to be a part of – as well as the opportunity to learn from others. The wisdom we have gained has and will continue to guide us personally and professionally.

While we always will be the “Meyers team”, we each have individual paths, gifts and talents to pursue with passion in order to achieve our own personal success. So it is time for us to move on and to that end we recently came across a quote from Erma Bombeck that we feel puts it all into perspective.
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say,
"I used everything you gave me".
